Corvette Sports Car Manufactured
by Chevrolet
The Corvette or commonly called a Vette or Sting Ray was a
sports car manufactured by Chevrolet in the year 1953. Today it’s built by
General Motors at plants in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It’s available in the form
of a 2 door coupe and a 2 door convertible. The platform on which it is built
is FR Y body. This car is available in various generations from C1 TO C4. And
these were from the period of 1953 to 1996. In 1996 Chevrolet released the Grand
Sport version. It was equipped with a LT4 engine which produced 330hp and 340
lb.ft of torque. This model came in Admiral Blue with a center stripe. It had
distinct spoke wheels that were colored black and had two red marks on the hood
that is above the front wheel. It was also manufactured with a Hard Top option.
